I LOVE MY MOMMY!!!

She gave me life....
She taught me about love...
she taught me about comfort and security...
she has been listening to this for almost 42 years...

she entertained me (still does) and taught me about multi-taskingshe has taught me that sometimes, you have to say no, and rest...
"Be Still and Know that I Am God." Psalm 46:10

she has shouldered my disappointments...
She taught me that God Has a Plan (Jer. 29:11)...
she has taught me how to treat other people...
sometimes....she has just silently watched...

she comes from a long line of incredible mothers...

she has shined me up, tied my bows and sent me out into the world.

she has shared in my happiness and excitement...
she has given me my humor...
she has given me the ability to look at things from a different perspective at times...

she has stood right behind me, with her hands on my shoulders...

she has encouraged me to face my fears...

She has always known when I needed to get away and just have some fun- pinwheels and all

she has always helped with my decisions...some harder than others...

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come.
She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her:
Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all." Proverbs 31:25-29

You see, the world stops today to do what I have done every single moment of my life;
Arise and call you blessed.
I love you mom.

God, Never in a million years would I have known to ask you for all You have given me in this woman. Thank you. I know you better, because I see You in her.
In His Dust,
DCC
