We didn't get to keep 'em, by backing down
Have you forgotten how it felt that day?
To see your homeland under fire
And her people blown awayHave you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell.
And her people blown awayHave you forgotten when those towers fell?
We had neighbors still inside going through a living hell.
We vowed to get the one’s behind Bin Laden...
Have you forgotten all the people killed?
All the loved ones that we lost and those left to carry on.
Don't you tell me not to worry about Bin Laden.
Have you forgotten?
Don't you tell me not to worry about Bin Laden.
Have you forgotten?
I want to be perfectly clear......
I am not rejoicing in a murder.
I am rejoicing in justice.
I am rejoicing in justice.
I am recognizing that we have not forgotten.
"This momentous achievement marks a victory for America, for people who seek peace around the world, and for all those who lost loved ones on September 11, 2001. The fight against terror goes on, but tonight America has sent an unmistakable message: No matter how long it takes, justice will be done." ~President George W. Bush
"His demise should be welcomed by all who believe in peace and human dignity.
Justice has been served." ~President Barack Obama
"I want to congratulate -- and thank -- the hard-working men and women of our Armed Forces and intelligence community for their tireless efforts and perseverance that led to this success.
I also want to commend President Obama and his team, as well as President Bush, for all of their efforts to bring Osama bin Laden to justice." ~Speaker of The House John Boehner
Bush promised, "we would not relent to find the perpetrators."
Obama continued and completed this pursuit.
The fine men and women of our US Military are the ones that meted out justice.
Having said all of this- God is The Only One Who can and will do the judging.
God, Thank You for never forgetting us.
In His Dust,
DCC
