I do not know how to being to thank all of you for coming up to be the Very Hands, Feet, Eyes, Voice and Ears of Jesus today-
Most of you physically saw the difference you made in lives of so many strangers- now friends-
In case you didn't- please know they have been up here telling me all about you up until just a moment ago-
I heard all about how you.... cleaned...listened...served...sang...cried...hugged...touched...laughed...brought water...played basketball...jumped rope...encouraged...guided...teased...bought barbie dolls, new outfits and even pink shoes...harmonized...washed...fed...covered...
Days like today remind me that He is Alive....and walking right among us.

We were blessed enough to "do for the very least of these today"- and in turn spent the day with Jesus.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." ~Matthew 25:35-40

As a fellow bloggie addict and the sister n law of Long Way From the Theta House I want to post a comment since so many don't!!
Today was a true joy to minister alongside of you and love on the precious people at the shelter. Watching the gifts God has given you be used to completely transform an environment that could potentially be very heavy, tense and depressing into one of laughter and fun was a real joy for me.
I will definitely come back!
Blessings,
Kelley
